Just because it’s game day, it doesn’t mean you have to bench you diet. You can still enjoy all the fun and flavors of the season. Score big points with an alternate take on a pre-game favorite.

- 4 ripe avocados
- 1 purple onion
- 2 Roma tomatoes
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 cilantro bunch
- 1 ear corn
- 1 lime
Per serving (about ¼ cup): Calories 150,Carbs 8.8g, Fat 13g, Protein 3g
- Halve avocados, removing the peel and pit. Finely chop onion, tomatoes and cilantro. Cut corn from the cob, mince garlic cloves.
- Combine ingredients and mash with fork, leaving avocado as fine or chunky as you prefer. Squeeze fresh lime juice, then gently mix again.
- For best flavor, refrigerate for a half hour.
To keep your guac green, place it in an air-tight container and cover the surface with a thin layer of water. Yes, water. Then seal the container. When it’s time to eat, simply drain off the top and enjoy your green guacamole.
