My wife, Victoria, and I had been Indiana residents for 18 years when she was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrigs disease) in January of 2006. Our family moved to Phoenix, Arizona, in August of 2009. We have adopted five children and had a son and daughter for a total of seven children. We have also fostered about 70 children throughout the years but had to end our fostering due to Victorias diagnosis.

We’ve been loyal Sam’s Club members for years, especially with feeding such a large family, but didn’t realize how much more of an impact they would make in our lives.

One of our daughters lives in Phoenix, and she went into Sams Club to see if they would partner with us to help organize a surprise flash mob as it was on Victorias bucket list. Victoria has also completed everything on her bucket list including a trip to Hawaii, making it to her 50th wedding anniversary and even skydiving. The flash mob at Sams Club was a huge success and was even featured on the nightly local news. Since then, the Sams Club associates have teamed up with our family to contribute to various ALS fundraisers and events, including an awareness walk every October, skydiving in March and Texas Hold em tournaments.

Sams Club accounts for a large part of our shopping, and the food court is nice to have lunch for the children we’ve fostered, adopted and loved through the years. The Pharmacy department has been really great and will reach out to us when its time to fill any prescriptions. Our family has never had a

bad experience shopping at Sams Club. Thank you for all the years of service as we shop for furniture, walkers, supplies and food. A friendly welcome and goodbye along with great service always make shopping at Sams Club a pleasant experience.

We love hearing from you!
